I am a BCACC registered clinical counsellor with nearly two decades of experience working for the public school system. This has enabled me to become well versed in various therapeutic approaches such as solution focused, play therapy, cognitive behavioural, and rational emotive therapy. I’m also completing certification in narrative therapy to expand my current repertoire of skills. My client population has consisted of children and families who come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. My goal is to ensure all individuals enter a warm, supportive and safe environment, in which they can share personal experiences without fearing judgement. I hold myself to high ethical standards, and aim to create a safe, informed, and supportive environment for individuals from all walks of life.
I have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the South Asian culture and languages (Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi) as well.
